Return & Refund Policy
Return and Cancellation Policy by Swag Motion
At Swag Motion, we create steering wheels that reflect your unique style and elevate your vehicle’s interior. Since each of our products is made individually, returns are only available for a limited range of ready-to-ship items in stock.
Returns and Exchanges for Custom Steering Wheels
Custom steering wheels are non-refundable and non-exchangeable, except in cases where defects are identified upon receipt.
Once we confirm that your package has been delivered, you have 48 hours to:
1. Inspect the steering wheel for any defects.
2. Report any issues by contacting us with photos attached.
If a defect is confirmed, we will offer a repair, exchange, or store credit.
❗ After the 48-hour window, returns or exchanges for custom steering wheels will not be accepted.
Unreasonable Requests for Cancellation or Returns
We understand that life can be unpredictable, but certain situations are not valid reasons for cancellations or returns:
• You sold your car or it was damaged in an accident during the production of the wheel. We’re sorry this happened, but our work is already underway.
• You changed your mind. Unfortunately, we can’t undo production with the wave of a wand.
• Personal or family circumstances. For example, if someone in your family isn’t thrilled with your choice.
• You decided to switch hobbies and now prefer cycling over driving. We respect your new passion, but the order cannot be canceled.
Cancellation and Return Fees
As soon as you place your order, the production process begins, which incurs costs. For cancellations or returns of ready-to-ship items, the following fees apply:
1. Order not yet shipped: A 5% fee (covers payment processing costs).
2. Item prepared and packed: A 20% fee.
3. Item shipped: A fee ranging from 25% to 50% of the product’s cost.
These fees help us maintain competitive prices and ensure high-quality service for all our customers.
Why Custom Orders Cannot Be Returned
Each steering wheel is custom-made to your specifications and vehicle requirements. This is not a ready-made item but a unique product that requires time, materials, and craftsmanship. We take pride in our work and ensure that every product meets the highest quality standards.

Maintenance Tips for Your Custom Steering Wheel
Carbon Fiber Care:
Keep your carbon fiber components clean by regularly wiping them with a soft cloth and a mild soap solution. Be sure to avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners, as they can harm the finish. To preserve the glossy look, always use microfiber cloths or pads for cleaning.
Leather Care:
For leather components, clean gently with a damp cloth and mild soap to remove dirt and oils. To keep the leather soft and supple, apply a leather conditioner periodically. Avoid direct sunlight for extended periods, as UV rays can cause fading or cracking over time.
Alcantara Care:
Alcantara requires a bit more attention. Use a soft brush or a microfiber cloth to remove dust and light stains. For more stubborn marks, use a damp cloth with a gentle upholstery cleaner specifically designed for Alcantara. Regularly brushing the surface will help keep its texture soft and prevent matting.
Protect from the Elements:
Whether it’s carbon fiber, leather, or Alcantara, prolonged exposure to direct sunlight and extreme temperatures can cause wear and tear. When not in use, park your vehicle in a shaded area or use protective covers to maintain the quality of your steering wheel.

How long until I receive my new steering wheel?
For in-stock steering wheels, your order will typically be processed, packed, and shipped within 24-48 hours after it is placed.
For custom orders, the production timeline is generally between 5-8 weeks for most builds. However, as with any custom work, certain factors—such as sourcing an OEM core, potential raw material delays, or other unforeseen circumstances—can affect the production time. In rare cases, it may take as long as 12-14 weeks. If time is critical, we recommend considering an in-stock option, as we cannot guarantee deadlines for personal or show-related events.
Once your steering wheel leaves our shop, domestic shipments typically take 1-5 business days, depending on your location and the shipping method selected. International shipments may take between 3-10 business days, depending on customs clearance in your country.
Do you ship internationally? What do I need to know?
Yes, Swag Motion ships worldwide. During checkout, shipping costs are calculated based on your provided address. If the site is unable to automatically generate a shipping quote for your location, feel free to reach out to us via email or message, and we’ll assist with a manual quote.
Please keep in mind that customs duties and taxes vary by country and are the responsibility of the buyer. Make sure to check your local regulations before placing your order.
What if I don’t see my vehicle listed on your site?
No worries! We can create a custom steering wheel for any vehicle. Just send us the year, make, and model of your car, along with a picture of the current steering wheel, and we’ll assist you in building a unique design specifically for your ride.
Can I request specific shapes or thicknesses for my custom wheel?
At Swag Motion, we take pride in the research and development invested in each of our designs. All of our steering wheels are crafted to provide an exceptional balance between comfort and safety, particularly for spirited driving.
While we strive to accommodate requests for custom shapes or thicknesses, please note that there are some limitations due to where the plastic parts and buttons connect with the steering wheel frame. That said, we welcome your ideas, and we’ll do our best to bring your vision to life!
What comes in the box when I purchase a steering wheel from Swag Motion?
Our steering wheels are sold as "core-only". This means that the core frame of the steering wheel (the part that holds all the plastic components, buttons, electronics, and airbag) is what you’re purchasing from us. During installation, the small parts from your original steering wheel—like the electronics and buttons—are transferred over to the new one.
The only exceptions are if you purchase additional decorative trim or Swag Motion paddle shifters, which will replace your existing components.
If your new steering wheel arrives with any electronics or buttons, please note that these are complimentary and are there purely for aesthetics or photography purposes. We strongly recommend reusing the original components from your vehicle, as any buttons or electronics that come with the steering wheel are not tested or guaranteed to work.
How do Swag Motion LED shift light steering wheels work?
Our LED shift light steering wheels include two main components: the steering wheel itself and the OBD2 module.
The Swag Motion LED steering wheel connects wirelessly via Bluetooth to the OBD2 module, which collects data from your car’s ECU, such as RPM.
Powering the LED system requires connecting the wheel to a 12V power source and ground, which can be done using a multimeter. In some cases, custom wiring through the clock spring may be necessary for vehicles without an accessible 12V source near the wheel.
Because each vehicle has unique wiring needs, we strongly recommend professional installation by an experienced technician. Please note that remote troubleshooting for LED installation is not possible, and these steering wheels are non-returnable and non-refundable, so make sure your installer is comfortable with the process before ordering.
